MAC shorty headers

Okay I have installed MAC shorty headers and like the tone and the little increase in power when towing... now the problem

I cannot get the headers to seal good to the y-pipe. I torque them down really good and it seems to have gone away but then it reappears. Is there any style crush gasket to put in there? I am just researching my options... thanks for any input!

Well I looked on ebay and it appears that they are made from graphite and will not distort to fill the leaking spot..

What changed in the exhaust tone/volume when you installed the shorties?

just slightly deeper... if it is louder it is not noticeable to me. When I pulled a trailer through the mountains it was deeper in the truck though.
