No Gotts

Must be my luck, I checked with Home Depot and Lowe's also some plumping supply houses in my area. NONE of them carry the black ABS pipe at all. Lowes sells it online in 5 foot sticks but im not going to pay 17.00 bucks for that and then shipping too. Anyone have luck like this?

I bought the white, cut it to size and then spray painted it. Works just as well. Hey, the white may even be slicker on the inside!

Yeah, hopefully you can find a 2 ft chunk of white, and just paint it up. Thats what I did, and I didnt even need the clamps and stuff that others have used, works slick, and looks damn near stock!

Hey guys, I had the same problem finding the black ABS pipe, and was told by the home depot guy that it is illegal in some places because it is highly flammable. So I bought the white pvc shaped it and bought a can of the rustoleum plastic paint and after two coats it looks stock. I took my time and carefully fit the parts and did not have to use any clamps. I have an 08 with the 4.6 and had to cut the plastic pins off of the filter housing to get everything to go together correctly. For $10.00 and 2 hours I think its worth it.

read the write up, I included pictures of the white and black pipe is use and neither one made any appearance difference ('cause the rubber coupler covers it)
