Thumbs up What should I buy???

Hey, Im just bought my 2007 F150 and it has the 5.4L. I want to buy a new eshaust system for it but I don't know which one to buy. I want it to sound good, but not be so loud where it will be annoying on a long trip. So what should i get and where should I buy it at?

I have been looking into the same thing. I think I have come to the conclussion to go with the Magnaflow 12198 with 3.5" x 18" Tips.

I have the Roush street legal system, its reasonably quiet at cruising speed, but when you mash the go pedal it has a nice rumble to it

See my signature for MBRP vids. Why my computer isn't letting me post videos directly in the the thread I'll never know.

I took mine off because it wasn't loud enough for me. Granted my loudness tolerance is different than most. Already have the intermediate and the Muffler off. Still using the rest of the pipe and the tips. Will probably be taking the rest off soon and finishing out the customization.

I'm very happy with my MBRP. I wanted something not very loud but still had that aggressive rumble when you get in the pedal and thats exactly what I got.

And yet another MBRP vote here. Love the sound of my truck. I just wish I had a camcorder that could do it justice. You can get a SI/SO full stainless, mandrel bent catback system with stainless tip and lifetime warranty online shipped for around $350 to $370. Dual out the back or side is like $60 more.

Here's what convinced me on MBRP.

Try banks i got a 2007 5.4L about 2 months ago and put on a Banks monster exhaust for the same reason as you. I love it. not much noise when cruising but very loud and deep when giving it gas. Deff. a great investment.
i got 2 videos one WOT and one crusing to show the difference.

Yes Banks is a bit high but IMO it was worth it. i paid 602 including installing and i would deff. do it again. it might not be as heard 2 miles down the road like some on here but i know my friends heard mine around a half a mile away and the tones amazing
