Electronic Cutout

I have a flowmaster 50 series exhaust SIDO on my 5.4 with a AEM CAI. Sometimes I want it a little louder. Would an electronic cutout work for me in my situation. Im assuming it would want it welded on and have a shop do it that way the work is guarranteed. Do they have a problem with leaking. It would rarely be open, and my truck is not a race truck, lol. I just want it to be loud when I want it to be, but quiet when heading down the road.

Anyone have any links?

Yeah but that is pretty vague. I was hoping someone had a suggestion of one that does not have any problems with leaking. I dont wanna just buy the first one I find. Also what size pipe do we have.

I don't care for cut outs at all. I don't like the sound of them, and I think they are ridiculous. This is just my opinion of course.

Care to elaborate?

And FX4 Matt,

Did you like the sound of it? Other than the leak was there any other complaints?

So I just need to order this in a 2.5, then cut off a portion of my current pipe, before the muffler, and then weld this in its place.
