Idling high

Hey all,

Just did the Gotts/DWV mod. It's idling a little high. What can I do to remedy that?

Hello !

If you disconnected the battery, you reset the KAM in the PCM, which means Adaptive is working - this should return to normal soon.

If it persists, the only other reason for this is unmetered air getting past the throttle - looseness somewhere causng leakage.

There is no way this mod in and of itself is the culprit, as the throttle plate position determines the idle speed (via the PCM, and no leaks).

Go over everything carefully.

Good luck sir!
