You thought 20 was too expensive for a 12" tip?

I'm cheap and it's kind of a waste to blow 24-35 on a tip
for under the truck when I could use that for a valance or rear view camera.

I wasn't expecting to loose the sound I had. That's what I was saying. I was happy with it before and wanted to know how to get it back

I guess re-do what you removed. If you don't do it almost exactly how it was to begin with, it will never sound the same. Every little detail in your exhaust system makes a difference in sound.

I guess I'd just cough up the cash and run a tip out the side like you were wanting but that's just me.

Well I'm saving for a more important mod right now that if it falls through I will. Plus I'm back in cs where stuff is cheaper. I also dropped over 900 last week so another 100+ isn't just readily available

I hear yuh man, guess you'll just have to tough out the undesirable sound until money isn't so tight. So what's this "important mod" you're thinking of getting? ...or is it unmentionable?

Yea it's not undesireable but more just not what it used to be .

The other mod is unmetionable due to the fact that I don't want to get everyones hopes up to get it done and then not happen haha

you should cut it just after that weld holding the pipe up, i got a straight muffler with no pipes or tips or anything and it sounds pretty good
