I don't kno if the truck finally got used to the cats being on and teh o2's but it's running awesome, even with the 35's!!! Wish i could have gotten it runnin like this before i took the normal tires off, just to see what she'd do! lol Tires way like twice as much and i can break them loose pretty easily, i could barly make my little tires bark before the LT's! lol
I have a video on my cell phone but it wasn't running like it is now, but ll try and post it up anyway

HEY! Nice job

Great job welding, looks better than mine. It was PITA welding to the headers. I managed without removing from the vehicle and laying on my back. I only caught on fire once, smoldered for a bit after from what I recall lol.

Thanks! But my welding skills are kind of minimal, i can't exactly take credit for that one. "The handy work", not "my handy work" lol Thats a reallly tight spot and a really good weld! Older guy helped me with that, lol i believe he caught fire a few times tho! lol I'm already thinking about my next endeavor, 4.88's or PI heads? I got the power bug now and im leaning PI's! Junk yard near the house has 2000 4.6 f150 heads $100, i'm pretty sure those aren't PI tho?
Gotta get an exhaust clip up too!

i think PI was late 99 for 5.4's and early 01 for 4.6's i think.

but a set of 99-03 5.4 PI heads will fit on your 4.6. both have the same heads i have 5.4 heads on my 4.6 block factory. get an aftermarket cam's and ive heard people talk abotu getting 50-110 HP from a PI swap.

the o2 bung looks awesome. glad they worked out for ya.

Thanks man! yeah, i believe your right about the pi heads thats why i didn't even look at them when he told me what he had. I'll keep lookin tho.

I'd prolly just use the stock pi cams bc cams aren't cheap! But who knows! i think id have to get a custom tune done too

Nah, you won't get as much HP as you think from a PI swap. Probably around the same as you do from LT headers. A PI swap IMO wouldn't be worth it unless you had a blower to go with. Then you would have something. Collecting all that can add up to quite a bit. Set back and think about it, - why not just purchase a used 5.4L SVT (Lightning) engine that's already built from the ground up, -factory.

Or ebay of course.

hmmm...that would be badass. I am a fan of displacement. $5-6k tho...

...but its def on the table! that'd be sweet forsure!
If i slapped a s/c on the 4six, how many pds could i run safely? And i kno it still isn't a 5four, prolly only be like 1k price difference too...so idk

Lol, Actually i left them an alright review bc these headers would prolly bolt right up on your truck no problems. They just werent meant for my truck exactly...I mean they did say 99-03 5.4. oh well, i got them on now.

Sounds good! Goes pretty good with 35's. Sounds a little different then mine, maybe it's just the muffler.
