OBX headers

will a set of 1999 f150 5.4l obx headers fit my 1997 f150 4.6l?

I don't see why not. Same block.

I know these will fit tho, if you ahven't already bought them, there is ppl on here running these......

i found a set on ebay with 2 high flow cats, a Y pipe and long tube headers all stainless steel. but they say there for a 1999 5.4l so i wasnt sure if they would fit for $495

the obx long tubes don't have cats, they are resonators.

Keeps exhaust more quiet. If your looking at having to pay someone your looking at atleast another $500 too for the install.

They are not the same block. No they will not fit. There was a guy on here named Jackal that tried putting some on his 4.6L and they needed to be modified extensively and I don't remember if he actually got them on or not.

the $475 sets come with resonators, the $695 kits come with high flow cats(prices are from sparktechmotorsports)

I think he got them on but had to have some custom cutting and welding done. Aren't the Pacesetter 4.6 LTs out?

Ohhh, i didn't know that sorry. i hate when i slip up and give out bad info! lol I was thinking that the 5four was just a stroked out 4six, but your right. I don't kno about teh obx then, but the pacesetters i got fit both.
