muffler

I recently put a new muffler on my truck its a flowmaster i don't know what kind my uncle gave it to me i got it put on and it doesn't sound much louder i have an 2003 f-150 2wd anyone know how to make it louder?

Cut it back off. Get a bullet and use that instead of the flowmaster. I love mine, loud and deep.

^ That is one way to go at it.
OP - It depends on what sound or tone your looking for. If you like the Flowmaster sound, you could replace your stock cats with hi flow cats from Magnaflow. If you prefer a tone other than Flowmaster, look around on youtube to find the sound your wanting and go from there!
