Exhaust Cut outs

I was wondering, does anyone have any experience with cut outs on a 04-08 4.6. Any videos maybe? Just wanting to hear what it sounds like.

not an 04-08 but i loved the sound of mine when i took them off. lol everyone wanted to race and i got thumbs up left and right. i got a thumbs up from a dude in an 04 Shelby 500!!! everyone loves hearing open pipe once n a while.

need to get some more 2 1/2" cut-outs are only 26 bucks on summit.

^It's really not that loud. I compared my 3" cutout to a guy with dual straights and it was MUCH louder. Same model and motor but his was on 07 compared to my 06. I was shocked how much louder his setup was compared to mine.

yeah im ok with 6 wing nuts and 2 plates for 50 bucks. 1 E-cut out last time i check was 300+ for 1!!! im perfectly fine with rollin under my truck. plus lets me check everything out while im down there. and no way i was going to pay 300 for 1 cut-out my longtubes cut-outs and mufflers cost under 500.

.....yeah eletric ones cost more to start with.. but the ability to change it on the fly would be very nice. compare it to your electric 4x4, dont gotta get out and lock out the hubs everytime, nice aint it? also when the pigs flip on the blue lights for being to noisy and your sittin on the side of the road and they come up and tell ya yer too loud and youve already flicked it back to "quiet" and start it..your all good bud. granted it'd be just plain ignorant to run the dumps and have a stock setup too. i'd run dual flows which would be decent soundin but legal and also have the dumps.

i have longtubes so i put them right after the longtubes oh man did it sound good.

yeah i dont have 4x4 but ive found maunal hubs are stronger and more relible same with the stick instead of a button.

as far as the cop thing goes i just tell them "Someone stole my cats! im trying to get some in right now im sorry"

there was a cop behide me for abotu 3/4 of a mile when i had open cut-outs didnt do anything just kept driving.

also passed one at WOT he must have been writing somthing down bc i know his car was shaking when i went by. my bud said he didnt pull out for 10-15 mins after i went by. maybe he liked the sound...

i understand early in the morning and after 10PM its way to loud but why is it illgeal during the day??
