Hi-Flows on my 03' 4.6l Supercrew

I am about to order 2 magnaflow #91406 cats to replace my stock cats. Will shops install them with no questions asked? i dont want to order them and no one will install them because they wont mess with the cats. my truck has 73k miles and i heard they wont mess with cats till you have 80k? my exhaust setup after the hi-flows will be the hiflow cats, to a flowmaster 40 series SI/DO with 3 1/2 tips out the back. Should i see a big increase in loudness with the new hiflows? Thanks

Are you removing all 4 stock cats and installing 2 high flows? Thats the best way to do it. Find out if your county is strict on emissions, and that will give you the answer if the shop will install with no questions.

Or just call and ask around. Most likely there won't be a problem. Your setup looks great! You will love that Flowmaster with the hi flows!

just ordered the cats thru performance peddler best price for sure. Anyone have an idea of how much it might cost to replace the 4 stock cats with the 2 hi-flows?

Maybe around $100 if the shop keeps your old cats.

I just had my 4 cats replaced with 2 94106 maggies and the difference is very noticable! I got mine put in for $75 and let them keep my 4 old cats. To me it was for sure worth the trouble to find someone to do it!
