Info - Borla XR-1

I emailed Borla last week about the difference in the XR-1 Race and Sportsman mufflers. I just got there reply today.

Thank you for your interest in our products. The main difference is the core. The multi core is designed to be smaller yet offer great noise suppression without affecting power. The sportsman is a single core designed for big power as well, but will be louder.

Thanks,

Chris Mann

Ya, that's backwards from what I would expect. I guess with 3 tubes help to damping the sound where as the single tube is just straight threw it.
