Not loud enough!!!!

Ok so i have a 2004 fx4, as of now i have the 2 rear (bigger) cats removed... and some offbrand v series "i think" single chamber exhaust turndown and it's no where near loud enough!

i used to have a 95 z71 stock with a 44 series flowmaster SI/DO and it was much louder...

What do i need to do in order to ger a louder deeper tone?

Do yourself a favor and get the Dynomax Bullet!!! I just had one installed and it is all kinds of LOUD!! The tone is deep, mean and loud. I could not be happier with my setup! I think if my truck was any louder, I would get hassled by the men in blue!

I have a '01 screw with a 5.4 and got a cat back with the single 3" bullet. My cats are stock. I have a Y then 3" into the Bullet, 3" out into the Y and 2.5" out to duals! Plenty loud!! I wanted to see what it sounded like before I went to Hi flow cats, it is loud enough for me right now! If I decide on Hi flow cats later on, my neighbors are gonna freak!!

I have a single borla xr-1 soon to be dualed borla xr-1's, if you like loud this just may float your boat. I have a few videos out there on youtube (search for tybco) but it does no justice as to how loud this thing is in person. It does have the pop and crackle but this is only during revs in park or if the OD is off and you let off the gas and coast.

No popple or crackle. Just a real mean tone! check out mig's vid's on here and you will get the idea! I will be putting up vid's of my own as soon as I get my video camera back from my step-son. The shop I had do the install is a Flowmaster dealer and when I went to pick up my truck... he said.." if you want to quiet that thing down, come back in and we will put on something different"!

^ True, the price is why I don't have a set of them yet. If you want loud, take them cats out!

^ I already had the Delta Force tuner to delete the rear o2 sensors. You can just do the "Gotts mod" on them and be done with it, or get a tuner later on down the road.
