This week i finally remove my rear cats I know I have read that several people had problems with blades on sawzalls when cutting them out, but my one blade did just fine, my problem was that I used a battery powered saw and the batteries would drain very fast. Instead of using traditional exhaust clamps on both ends, i used stainless steel band clamps on the back side. I have had good luck with these type of clamps in the past on tractors and semi trucks so I guess we will see how long they last. Besides making it alot easier to install, the band clamps are made to form the first time they get hot to ensure theres no leaks. It does sound better, and was worth doing.

The pipe is just a normal flanged pipe from advanced auto, the front slips over the stock pipe and uses a u bolt exhaust clamp from advance...The clamps used on the back is a 2.5" stainless band clamp that I got at my local Case IH dealership, but I'm pretty sure they sell them at napa auto parts or anywhere that handles diesel exhaust parts.
