Header, Cat, Muffler?

Looking into getting pacesetter l/t header, high flow cat 94106, but not sure on muffler.

Current back cats are starting to fall apart and when I was looking at it I noticed a missing stud on the exhaust manifold so I decided to start from the engine and work my way back.

Where can I get the headers and what muffler should I go with, if any?
I want it to sound good but not good enough to get pulled over each drive.

Any help would be appreciated.

jegs..i think they sell pacesetter..what kinda of truck do you have..motor?

i have 94106 high flows and i like them..

muffler..are you looking for performance or a good sound..performance you should go with a straight through muffler, borla, dynomax, magnaflow..

IMO chambered mufflers sound great..flowmaster, thrush..so on

2000 F150 5.4 4x4.
As for the muffler, I would like a better sound. Not sure if I need to have a muffler if I have the high flows but I would think that would be way too loud with just the high flows.
I know this has been asked a million times but if I put the Pacesetter headers on, then the high flows, then the Y into a muffler, I should be good without any check engine lights right?

summit i think has them my buddy got soem from them for 320 bucks.

as long as you put the rear o2's back in after the high flows no CEL.

i ran hi flows with no mufflers and a H pipe http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vt6qpxghCwQ

very loud..they say if you have the cats welded up right, and put the oxygen sensors right, one before and one after the cat...then you wont throw a CEL...well i did that and my CEL came on...and so i decided to try the gotts02 mod and havent had a CEL in a little over a year

It looks like Shifty 85 has no cats.
If I get the pacesetter longs with the Y pipe into a muffler how do I work my O2's?
It looks like the headers have plugs to thread in the front o2's but the y pipe does not look like it has an area for the back o2's?
what is the trick with the back o2's if I go catless?

^ the headers should have threads for the first 2 sensors..the back 2 will just have to be put in pipe..

if you dont run converters..well it really doesnt matter how you run them..probably just space them out like you would if there were converters on there.

Looks like I can run headers and the Y pipe with back O2 sensor ports welded into the pipe. Once this is done will I need to do the Gotts 2 mod so the CEL does not come on? Would you have a link for the OBX header/midpipe setup or can I find it somewhere?
Thanks for the help tarajerame. I see your location is Germany, not sure where Garmisch is but I have been to Homberg Ohm three times this year. Love the highways and I wish people in the states understood that the left lane is for passing.

Well I put on the Spectre CIA today and noticed something else threaded into the exhaust manifold that looks pretty rusted up. I am not sure what it is but it is located on the drivers side. Will there be an area for this on the Pacesetter headers, that I have ordered? Are they bolt on ready or do I need to mod things out to get them to work? The only other question is the gaskets. Do the headers come with them or should I get some from the Ford dealer?
