Dumped Exhaust on v6

So I began thinking about my next project and with the way im going with my truck Im not so sure I want to keep the exhaust splitting off the side and was thinking about cutting it back to where it dumps just over the rear axle for a cleaner look, maybe putting small tips on it just so its not cut off pipe if someone decides to look under the truck.....anyways, does anybody know if this would sound good? Any louder than what I have now? Just trying to get a more cleaner look.

soooo many threads on this. dumping it before or after the axle is going to change the tone and volume. it will be louder in the cab and quieter outside. best set up on a v6 is a super 44 out the side before the rear tire. thats all i would do with a 6
