longtubes are longtubes. the quality and the name are what your paying for. I would go with Pacesetter, just because of the price difference. Also, look into OBX and Doug Thorley. They are all about the same price. High flow wise, magnaflow 94106 without a doubt

It depends on where you live that dictates what you should buy. Here in GA, I could buy a set of Pacesetter (which I plan on doing), and they will last the entire life of the truck with minimal amounts of rust. If you live up north where they salt the roads everyday during the winter, you will want a set of high quality stainless steel headers just so they can last.

Performance wise, they are the same until one gets a hole in the side due too excessive rust.

ya, my bad. ive done all my searching using my 2003 year, so its completely different. ya i would just go with the pacesetters. There are other companies out there that make headers for your year (JBA, SLP, KOOKS) but im having trouble finding them right now. If you time, do some searches. I would any of those 3 over Pacesetter, but you gotta find em first

All this talk about rusting through but isn't that the purpose of buying the ceramic coated over the painted version on the Pacesetters? The standard is painted and from everyone's testimonials they rust reallt fast. The ceramic coating protects from rust and increases exhaust flow by keeping the heat in. Granted, the Dynatech's have a lifetime warranty. I wouldn't worry about rusting no matter where you lived with the ceramic coated Pacesetters. I think that's what I'm going to be going with.
