Good to hear you got it all figured out. I knew you'd like the sound!!!
I agree, I will send them our numbers and tell them to hook us up! The sound is un-mistakable!

Just tell them I'll take one of their intercooled supercharger kits.

I wonder if you were shipped an 04 kit. I recall seeing members ROR exhausts looking just like your kit.

Mine is definitely an 05 kit.
I've never heard of an aluminized coating on T-409...

It's T-409, it doesn't need an aluminized coating. T-409 is more corrosion resistant than aluminized steel.

Maxout05, to me it just sounds like Roush just gave you the run-a-round to get rid of you.

Read this. Look closely at the picture.

http://www.aksteel.com/pdf/markets_p...a_Bulletin.pdf

Untreated 409 stainless gets a surface coating of rust over time. Aluminized treated 409 stainles gets no surface rust.

Thanks me too, lol!! It took me two minutes, literally to get the old system out, 30mins or so to get the new one in, and TWO hours to get the tips lined up properly, lol!! I am a perfectionist to a degree. But really what a pain to line them up, I was tired after that, lol!!
In the end I had to cut the end of the drivers side pipe about an inch shorter and push the passengers side forward another inch and then it took a floor jack and large pry bar to get the tips level.. but I think they look the levelest out of any pics I seen of this kit so far.. what do you guys think?

Looks fantastic and I'm glad you're happy with it. Forgive my laziness, but what was the final verdict on the material? It looks eerily similar to the piping my exhaust shop used.

I'm glad I purchased my Roush kit when they were all T-304 Stainless Steel! It should last longer than the truck! No rust at all in 3 winters!

the final verdict is 409 stainless with the coating also. I'd be happier if it was the 304 but theres not much I can do. Plus in reality I paid 450.00 for a 583.00 system sooo i'll deal, lol!

the sounds is amazing.. definitely un matched. I'm still surprised how it sounds.
