cherrybomb extreme

cherrybomb extreme

any know how a cherrybomb extreme would sound and do on a f-150 stright 6 4.9L?

first of all there is no 4.9L v6. and it will sound like crap on any v6. i would put a magnaflow on a v6 to keep it deep as possible otherwise itl sound like a ricer with a chambered muffler such as the cherry bomb

know your stuff or do research before calling people out, dude. '92-'96 came with an option of a 4.9L I6. and your wrong, chambered mufflers sound the best on 6's.

Bingo... That straight 6 was apretty darn good engine IIRC

i hate people that come out swinging, before knowing what there talking about. moral of the story, dont make a comment if you dont know what your talking about. thats all. but yes, the 4.9L was a great motor. and i made a mistake, it was introduced in the '60s but in '87 was changed to fuel injection. its a 300 CID motor.

wow i miss my old 4.9

that truck would do anything i wanted it to, and it never quit. had a bad habbit of chewing through trannies though

Indeed Mig, indeed.

Chambered mufflers for anything with less than 8 cylinders.

Pretty close man... it was the inline 6 5.9 for years and years... but in 07 or 08 the changed it to a 6.7
