would a bad o2 sensor cause my exhaust to crackle when the engines revved or if the throttles punched it hesitates before accelorating?? i just need to know if that may be my only problem. it started doing it a week ago and the check engine light came on and i just wanna know if its nothing more than a bad o2 sensor

 

did you read the code? What code is being thrown? Exhaust crackling sounds like basic back pressure issues, not sure about the hesitation issue.
