Exhaust tips???

Exhaust tips???

i need to get some new tips for my exhaust. this may be a dumb question but does an angled cut tip have a different effect on the sound compared to a rolled tip? any help is greatly appreciated

I dont think the tips make any difference unless they have baffles in them

Actually I think it does make a difference to be honest. I could be wrong, I don't know much about exhaust still learning, so I will be interested to see what the response from an expert on this will be.

The actual size of the exhaust tip (2.5x6" tip vs. 4x24" tip) has a bigger effect on sound then it's shape or construction (rolled, pencil, angle cut).

The style makes a difference. Rolled look cool, but they do cause air turbulance. That's why you see more carbon buildup on rolled tips than cut tips.
