Dumped vs. Out the back?

Dumped vs. Out the back?

i am getting a forty series flowmaster and i am wondering if i should dump it or take it out the back and if i do take it out the back how should i do it?


help would be appreciated!

i just had mine done it is a flowmaster 40 si/do and i have it exit at 45degrees behind both back tires and really like the look and sound.

Dumped if you only want to hear it in the cab, and out the back if you want everyone to hear it.

if i get it out the back what do youll reccommend 90 degrees 45 degrees or straight out

I personally would have it straight out the back if it's 2WD, and the other 2 for 4WD.

Straight Out the back, I had it dumped for a while but it was really loud in the cab and still loud outside then went straight out the back and its alot nicer can still hear it but its not really loud.

You'll be smelling it in the cab alot if you dump it.

I have mine dumped right before the rear axle, and yea it is loud in the cab(but I like it), as far as smell I have never had that problem, this is my 3rd truck with dumped exhaust.

lol i got tips and i can smell mine, hey can you pm me the name and location where you got your exhaust done? i may hit them up when i get my next truck if they have magnaflow

I'd get pipes ran out the back whichever way you prefer (straight, 45'd, etc..). I just appreciate a fully piped exhaust system for some reason.
