Exhaust

I'm new to the whole exhaust community and need some advice on what to do. I have an 03 reg cab 4.2 and i'm wanting to make it louder. I don't know if i should keep it a single pipe or get dual exhaust. I've heard the flowmaster's 40 series sounds pretty good on a v6. Any advice or help is appreciated!

Also it has 2 catalytic converters no sure if this will help or not.

ull get more volume and better performance by upgrading to 3" after the Y into the muffler and 3" out (if your doing SISO) or 2.5" out (if your doing SIDO)

Look into a delta 50, V6 owners say it works.

All good advice here... you might be better off with what 4.6 Punisher said because it is chambered, but not as loud as a 44, so it won't be crazy loud.

Thanks for all the advice.
Does the delta 50 still give it a nice sound for a v6 and not ricey?

the delta 50 will be very calm, if u want more sound i would think about the 40 series, or even more sound go with the super 44. all those will be deep, but each one has different volume.

It's always going to sound ricey at a certain point, no way around it.

I'm still debating between the 40 series and the 50 delta series. I still need more of a convincer for one.

I would say it depends how loud you want it. The 50 series would be noticeable but not crazy loud. The 40 series i.e. 40 delta, 40, and super 44 will be deeper and louder.
