I've got a Gibson super sport and yes its a bit quieter but when you get into the gas pedal it sounds awesome. Love it

 

I had a Gibson supertruck and a set of their headers on my '97 off road with 5.4. That combination sounded sweet on that truck. It would set off a few car alarms when I would drive down the street. I wouldn't mind putting a supertruck on my '05 FX4 but Gibson doesn't make a system that fits a supercab with the 66" bed.
