Unhappy Help With Headers ASAP.

Ok I have searched but didn't find my ansewer. I am installing shortys on my truck right now and well getting the rt on on found out that since I got them used I don't have all the hardware. So to get the header to the cat attached can I just get a bolt and nut combo and crank them togather.

There should be a flange and gasket on the collector. I'm sure you can get those at an exhaust shop. As for the dipstick, I think you need to remove it so you can put the headers on.

It just bolted like I thought it did and yup had to remove the dip stick and was this job ever a pain. I am not sure if it is just the sound of the headers or if I might have ended up with a very small exahust leak.
