I am replacing my rt side exhaust manifold and broken studs. Which studs do you guys prefer, the Ford stainless or I noticed Rock Auto has the Dorman ones pretty cheap, not sure if they are stainless. Also does the down pipe move easily or should I remove the clamp by the Y-pipe? Thanks Mike

I got my manifold from Rock Auto, (even with shipping it was $28 cheaper than the other stores. On the advice of others I will go with the genuine Ford stainless studs and nuts------I am only doing this once! Mike

I went though ford when i got mine. But they weren't stainless, they were Copper colored. with stainless bolts. No clue why, but thats what it was.

I only paid 42 for 8 studs and 8 nuts.
Just enough for 1 side.

Mine was on my 01 Screw 5.4
