I unfortuantly do not have the time to buy one of each intakes and strip my truck just to dyno it 100 times and put it back together
What do you mean by this because I dont recall asking you to personally dyno each individual intake or modification? As a matter of fact im not wanting anyone to dyno anything. My mistake thinking that snorkle was from a v6, but for whatever reason thats what came to mind when i saw it. I am not looking to purchase any parts, intakes or anything related. I just had a question about something that made sense in my head. I have tried to put it out there best that I can, but I havent been able to get any of you to understand what I am thinking. I had no clue that ideally 4 different little pieces and a discussion about them could be sooo complicated. Im not trying to step on anyone's feelings or insult anyone's intellingence, but I have found the answer I was searching for elsewhere so there isnt any need to forgo any confusion. Thanks to all of you for the replys and assistance,
Brad.

Okay. I have no idea how you can take someone across for rude on the internet. There is no dialog behind font, so how can you tell the way that I mean something by the way that I type it. It would appear as though that the ones taking me for rude are trying to find it that way. As I said before with an apology attached I am not intending to be rude. I understand that none of you have to spend your time coming on here and debating with me over something so insignificant. So if that is your take on it, then you dont have to help me and its no harm done. Like I said before I have gotten what I was looking for, but
I showed them personally and explained myself then and there and to him it made perfect sense. Im sorry for being unintentionally rude to all of you like I have said many times before. Maybe its just me saying, but some of you guys seem to get offended way too easily.

What i did on my 97 5.4 might be a little redneck, but i think i cleaned it up pretty nice. But i did the GOTTS mod, but instead of installing a PVC pipe, I cut the stock cylinder that holds the airfilter, Cut it back about 3 an 1/2 inches and put in a drop in K&N filter, Then took an old plastic 5 gallon bucket, chopped it all up and made a heat sheild, painted it all and its been that way for 3 years now. Can put up pics if anyone wants to try this.
