some vehicles they really do help others they dont. i installed a K&N cai onto my 93 f150 5.0 and i didnt notice a single difference in performance. but it made the exhaust sound better and i got heavier footed and fuel mileage stayed about the same so maybe its doing something, i dont know. but it gets dirty pretty quick IMO. i've had to clean mine twice already since i installed it back in august last year, and it only has about 9000 miles on it.

CAIs make the biggest differance on the modular eng. especially when used with a custom programmer like an XCAL.

cai made a world difference in my truck. i had it installed with the stock exhaust still on there and it made the truck sound deep. then adding the bullet made it sound like a mustang pissed off

dynoed at about 13 hp on a 5.4 3v with custom tunes. Just removing the restrictive stock snorkle dynoed at 10 hp.

When I did the Gotts Mod, I didn't notice anything whatsoever. Maybe I need to get a decent filter, still using a Fram paper filter.
