Do the DWV intake mod (search it) and get a tuner... I'd reccomend a Gryphon because you can monitor various things like avrg mpg, instant mpg, rps, ect ect. Order an economy tune that's what I plan on doing.

The main difference is, as you stated, that one is made from aluminum and the other from plastic. The metal intake does not give as much power because it heats the air more than the plastic intake. The power difference is damn near impossible to feel 1.5 horsepower. It all comes down to which ever one you think looks best.

K&N is far from the best brand or the cheapest to choose from. S&B is a cheaper and overall better cold air intake than the K&N. You can also perform the "Gotts Intake Mod", might cost you around $15 and an hour of your time to build. The Gotts Mod gives you all the benefits of an expensive CAI and you won't run the risk of running lean, like you can from other CAI brands.

The difference is looks. As far as better mileage it also depends on how heavy of a foot you have on the gas pedal. Just an intake alone isnt going to make a whole lot of difference. I have an AEM Brute Force and it looks good and did help a little bit. What i like about it is you dont have to oil the filter after you clean it.
