BBK Throttle Body Installed

Just installed a BBK 80mm throttle body last night on my 2008 5.4 screw. Is there a throttle body resync procdure that must be preformed. I know when I had my dodge and i cleaned the TB and put in a spacer they had a procdure to resync it after being unplugged and removed. does ford do the same?

I seen a post on the php forums the other day on how to recalibrate the TB and....

Recalibrating the gas pedal and throttle body:
1- Turn the ignition to ON without starting the engine(dashboard lights come on and chime sounds).
2- After the chime stops, smoothly depress the gas pedal to the floor while counting 1001-1002-1003.
3- Release the gas pedal using the same procedure in 2.
4- Wait 6 seconds, and turn the ignition to OFF.
5- Wait 6 sec., and repeat steps 1-4 two more times.

I don't think a resync procedure is needed, but a custom tune will take advantage of it more than a stock EDGE.

Unless I'm missing something (turbo/supercharged) a larger TB is not needed at all...

No, on a lightly modded truck, it's not. The stock is plenty adequate.
