its basically like having a dumped exhasut, when i hold the switch down they open up and exhasut pours out right after the header...sounds like a damn nascar (as loud as having straight pipes on your truck), but then i can close them back up and i have a quiet stock exhaust again....or if i cop pulls me over i can quickly quiet the truck down

its super loud, almost toooo loud if there is such a thing. Im getting my dads F-150 done tomorrow and were going to put the cut outs after the cats so i may do the same if it turns out being a deeper sounding loud. Inside the cab is pretty loud because they dump right next to the front doors. I paid $350 for the pair and then it was another $200 to have them welded in there and wired up to the dash...little pricy but you get the best of both worlds with it. I have a friend in tampa with a camera but i dont have one to make i video clip...wish i did!

so u still have the muffler and tips on the exhaust but u can open the cut outs so the exhaust doesnt run through the mufflers? and if they are closed then it runs through the mufflers? sounds badass ive heard of em but never seen em really

Exactly.

To the OP - looks good You should let us know in a few months how it's holding up. I haven't really heard of DMH as much as QTP. Nice looking truck

No issues, running with the cutouts open? I drove about 10 miles to get my high flow cats and such welded up with only the headers and front O2s installed and after about 5 minutes of driving it would buck and not even go above 40 mph or so.

migdaddy you got it now. I havent had leaking problems in the past with these becasue they use silicone instead of a gasket where leakage can occur. my friend has a GTO with them and has had them on for over a year now with no issues. As for check engine lights coming on....it is possible but hasnt happened to me yet, if you put the cut outs after your cats then you will not have an issue there.

Batn68....not sure why you truck did that but ive never herd of this problem from running wide open and I talked for a very long time with DMH to make sure that my truck wouldnt be harmed by installing their product.

Fx4Matt...ive herd there is a loss of performance with having it wide open like this but very low loss...my friends GTO only lost about 5-7 hp by having them open on the dyno.
