Magnaflow dual exhaust

Has anyone else had this problem? I installed a magnaflow dual side exhaust system on my 2006 SCAB FX4. When I got down to the exhaust tip section i tried to mount the clip into the rubber gasjet that connects to the truck. I noticed that the gasket would not fit between the pipe and the clip. I had to manipulate the gasket so that it would fit on. Right now i have a make shift connection on the tip. I dont know if I should talk with magnaflow or just try and find a gasket that will fit properly. Thanks.

Rubber insulator is what magnaflow calls it. The kit shouldnt need any bending and i dont have a torch. i cut up the insulator and wedged it into the hanger for now. i have an email into magnaflow for this. still any ideas are helpful...thanks
