Is there some web site or info on the CAI's performance gains? I have been looking at some and there are some claims of 22hp gains (Roush) and I see on this thread some only give 3hp gains? I don't know if it worth the bucks if this is all I will gain. I pull a Haulmark trailer 2300#, with two long custom bikes and I need power. Ford and several others have said 3 inch single exhaust for max performance and CAI will be a huge improvement. I think I should have went with diesel but last year diesel fuel was off the graph in price when I purchased a F-150, the coolest looking truck on the market!
I live in Denver and pulling up the mountains can work an engine. I just got back from Austin,TX. pulling bikes and enclosed trailer, approximately 4000# and determined I need this truck to have more power, hope I am not killing my engine! Any suggestions would be appreciated, this website is awesome!
