THIS is definitely not the route you wanna go ^^^! FLOWMASTERS= JUNK, TRASH on these Modular Ford V8s! They sound like a muffler with tin shaking in them, & they drone like hell. You definitely wanna stay with a straight-thru flowing muffler! Better sound and much better flow. I say get rid of the stock cats and get High Flows! If you want a deeper sound @ WOT, then True Dual your setup. I have Magnaflow Magnapacks Part #: 10416 & Flowmasters wish they could touch this sound... DEEP, with volume and tone! OR, try a different muffler. Maybe Dynomax Bullets, Borla XR-1s, or like I said Magnapacks! Im suprised guys on this forum are still saying get Flowmasters ? Those days are longg gonee.

Well, it's all really limited mostly by the cats....they absorb about 70% of the sound....and until you get 8 years + on those cats, nobody is going to remove/replace those unless they are damagaed...and then the dealer gets em for analysis and replacement.

High flows will help a little, but you're only talking about a 10% tone/loudness increase which is really not that much. Over time, as carbon builds up 9although it is very little) it will deepen the tone but it takes time.
