lightning style pipes on an 07

this has probably been asked already but i didnt see it. will having your exhaust exit in front of tire like the lightning benefit or hurt me rather than going out the back?

and if any one has a pic thanks

it all depends on how its done. if you go with something like magnaflows lightning exit muffler and pipes then theres no problem. but if you have a shop do it and they dont necessarily do it right then you can heat up your rear tire. when i say if they dont do it right i mean, if the tips or pipes are too close to the tire or if the angles are wrong or if the tips or pipes are too far underneath the truck instead of sticking out a little bit. if you go with a system that is made by an exhaust manufacturer then you should be good.

thats fine. just make sure that the tips actually stick out from under the truck just a little bit. i only used magnaflow as an example. i've seen a shop cut the lip under the bed to put the tips onto the pipes(they never planned out the bends for the tips to fit).
