Is the MBRP SISO going to be too loud?

I ordered a kit from Troyer which included a catback system and custom tunes. This will be the third kit that I've bought from them and installed on various F150's through the years. The lady said it was the same exhaust that they have always included with the kit, so I just assumed that I was getting a Magnaflow SISO with an 18" muffler just like I always have. I get the receipt and there is this strange part # mb-S5200409. After much searching, I finally take off the "mb", search again and figure out that it's an MBRP (which I had never heard of till now).
I just don't want something that's too loud. My last truck ('05 F150), I put a Magnaflow 3 " catback with a 24" muffler on it and it was just right.
Do you think the MBRP SISO is going to be a lot louder than the Magnaflow SISO 18" muffler. I've got to decide quick because the MBRP is supposed to ship this week.

no, MBRP is a company that catered to the oil burning trucks that has now expanded to gas. i chose them because they are not flowmaster/magnaflow loud. if you like magnaflow, you should like the MBRP
its the same exact exhaust i ordered from autoanything. i heard it on a buddys 06 5.4 and was sold.

It's definitely not too loud. I've got it on my truck right now and had a Roush Off-Road kit before that. The MBRP kit is not as loud as the Roush kit but it is quite a bit deeper. I bought it looking for a loud and deep tone -- it's got an extremely deep tone but is not loud enough for me. I'm actually trying to sell mine because I like a louder exhaust than the MBRP.

Just looking at pics of the MBRP, it looked like it might be loud. Plus I have a hard time going off of all the sound clips posted on here.

if you think its going to be too loud, send it back..its only gonna get louder as it gets driven. the 22" magnaflow will be probably be a good muffler for you if you concerned about sound, or just put the 24" like u had on ur other truck

My cat-back is a MBRP SIDO and it is not louder than an 18" Magnaflow SISO cat-back.

I'm confused. Troyer is shipping an MBRP SI/SO with a tune kit? After I got my MBRP SI/SO someone told me to call Troyer and ask them how much bottom end I'm losing because of the larger diameter on the piping. ????? Now Troyer is selling MBRPs?

Here's the thread where Mudterrain suggests calling Troyer for the explanation on why the 3 1/2" piping is too large.

They didn't even ask me which exhaust I wanted when I ordered my custom tunes, they just automatically put in the MBRP.
I read on another thread where a guy installed the SISO MBRP, then put his truck on a dyno and didn't lose anything.

Troyer is selling them because they put up #s on the dyno and the quality cant be beat.It is not to loud but sounds great.Because exhaust volume is age related I will say that im 40ish years young.

I sure would like to see those numbers. I caught hell from quite a few people on here telling me how much bottom end I'm losing with this MBRP kit.

With a SISO banks kit, you're gaining power. When you go to true duals, you lose down low power in favor high end.
