K&N vs Banks

Gents,

I'm thinking of switching out my K&N Intake for a Banks Ram Air. Any suggestions, advise, or personal experience?? Thanks.

Any reason for the switch? The K&N is a well designed intake with dyno proven gains

Honestly I have a few reasons;

1. I like the fact that the Banks Ram Air is enclosed in a "case" which keep more hot air out.
2. I read on a few websites that the Banks out performs the K&N, not by much though.
3. Looks, I like the Banks better.

I only have experience with the Banks but I was always happy with it. I'm not smart enough if this field to know if it's better or worse than the others out there.
At the time I was really debating which CAI I wanted to buy but when I found out that Banks started making things for gas engines, I was all over it.

BTW, I'm selling my Banks if you're interested.
