Roush Off-Road Side Exit pics!
I think large tips on a side exhaust don't look good period. Except for Dexx00420's setup be hes running one large tip. My tips are not perm. Im going to be swaping them out for a different set of stainless steels. The shop only had those chrome tips which IMO look frigin outstanding.
I am using a 18' magnaflow exhaust, then just dumped it looks exactly like the roush setup except the muffler is longer. I told him I wanted the tips to be under the truck mostly so he recessed them, and also i wanted him to roll them over to the side a little bit. The sound inside the cab is 5x more than It was behind the wheels, but my 18' muffler keeps the entire thing somewhat quieter.
If you were going to run the side skirt with that roush setup and those long rolled tips I think its the sweetest setup. But without those skirts the round longer tips look odd. Just my opinion tho. The entire setup cost me 60 for the muffler, 75 for the install and tips. so 135. bucks is what I have in the entire thing.

Hey i heard something about the side exit heating up the rear wheel... Whats your experience with this? I absolutely love the look and a, most likely going to do it to my truck just wondering what your thoughts were.
Thanks
Thanks
I never noticed anything in regards to it heating up the tire.
I know I dont have a sound clip but there is no drone to the system , inside the cab you can hold a normal conversation under normal acceleration, stomp the pedal and the sound really comes alive.

With the early things about the bending the roush rear exit, that is ideally what I want, but the more I look at the cost: I found it for 540 shipped, but then I would have it bent, and all welded to go as Darren has, traditional split side rear. The problem is, the cost of doing all that outwieghs the system, and I'm not sure that is the way I think I will go. 540 alone is more than what it would cost for a very nice si/do system with stainless piping and tips, atleast at the mufller shops in my area. But the sound on the offroad is so amazing, just wish they made the offroad muffler as a stand alone because I would so buy that in a blink of an eye.

If I can get a quote from a muffler shop that isn't unreasonable for the welding and bending of the Roush, just maybe I will do it becuase after hearing this

Is that the legal or the off-road version? I've heard the off-road is .5" bigger at the tips? Can anyone confirm?
Well thanks OmegaRed88, it is the off-road version and the sound is amazing! About the tips im not sure about the size difference, I actually didn't know there was a difference in size! haha. Hope i helped with your decision!
When you get a chance..... can you take a pic farther away showing the whole truck? It looks great up close but from far away they look out of place unless they are used in conjunction with side skirts. It probably looks great on your truck though with the lift and bigger tires.
