I hope i dont get flamed here but i have some questions...

what does CAI mean? i know it has something to do with Air Intakes.

What does running lean mean? i know u can run lean when u put in a Air Intake.(so i was informed) and that running lean u can blow ur engine.

when someone says "careful when buying a CAI as you'll probably need a tune with it" does that mean like the Diablo Sport Predator,
and if so does that mean you souldnt get a Air Intake without the Tuner?

Im a freaking newb when it comes to engines , but i want to learn, thats why i am asking.

 

CAI= Cold Air Intake

Running Lean= not enough fuel for the amount of air you are taking in

 

Ok cool wat about the tuner? sould u not get a CAI without a tuner like the diablo sport predator?

 

when people say get a tune to keep from running lean they mean custom tune like php, vmp, and troyer search those and get some info on them
