"black" boxes
does anyone know where to get the "black" boxes you put in place of the o2 sensors for an 06 f150 5.4 after having both cats collapse and ford not warranty it because i had dual exhaust i just decided to punch them out. the cel has not came back on since i removed the insides but i just would like to be safe when inspection time comes around

They will work. I put the ones on from www.americanmuscle.com They are listed for a mustang, but they work. I will caution you, however, that the ones I recieved were not good quality. They look really good, and fit well, but I had a CEL light on both rear O2 sensors when I put the eliminators in. The passenger side was a heater circuit, and the drivers side was the main circuit. The problem with the passenger side eliminator was that the pin in the connector was pushed out, easy fix, no problem. On the drivers side, however, the resistance was measuring 10 Mega Ohms (should be 1.0). So, I had to take that one completely apart and finally figured out that the connection between the resistor and the wire was bad. Resoldered the connection and everything works fine now.
I know these aren't major problems, and they were fixed without spending any additional money, but when you spend $60 on these things you expect them to work. Should have just built them myself for $5.
