I currently have the Roush CAI on my 07, Too much noise, What is a better option without the whistle? I have been searching and the 3.5" Air Force 1 sounds good but I have not heard much about it. Any imput from the fellas in the know?

 

AF1 just went out of business. Check out the S&B. They get a lot of good reviews on this site.

 

S+B you dont even know its installed untill 2500 rpm.

 

ahve a volant cai with power core filter, love it no whistle. Most whistel comes from high rate or air flow around sharp bends will casue the whislte.

 

I'm running the roush cai and the only noise I ever had was drone. Running with custom tunes now and no noise other than sucking in air when I mash the pedal. Are you running custom tunes of any kind with your cai ?

 

I love my 3.5" AF1 CAI. I must admit it does not make for a quiet cab when you want to get on it though. I have it plus a magnaflow system so when you put the pedal down the dbs in the cab go up quickly. I don't ever get a whistle though.
