What's your perfect exhaust set up?

Alright so I will admit that I haven't done any research when it comes to exhaust but I am certainly willing to learn.

I'm looking to change up my exhaust. I've seen Josiah's YouTube videos and absolutely love the way his sounds. How can I do this? lol I of course would like it to be legal. I am not interested in having the pipes go completely to the back of the truck (I was thinking dumped?) Single chamber flows maybe? And on top of this I would not like to lose any power as I have read a few times in some threads that certain combination are prone to this.

With all of that being said, give me all of your guys thoughts and opinions. I will be lurking so thanks in advance to all of those who take a few minutes to let me in on some knowledge.

If you've already got a set up that you love, post it. If you don't love yours but know what you'd get if you had the money to do it, post it.

I personally love my setup, its not for everyone but I enjoy it and that's what matters. I don't think I lost any power, but if your going for power exhaust really isn't going to do much for you untill you start doing headers and such. A simple cat back won't make enough difference for you to be able to tell. The only thing I would change about my exhaust is, I want to add a nice set of longtubes. There are clips and a description in my sig if you want to check it out.

My perfect exhaust set up would have to be 8 pipes never collecting 45ed before the rear tire...mine is kidna close but not really.

i have Pacesetter longtubes Jegs cut-outs and dynomax bullets and its dumped right under my feet true-duals i know i picked up some power from longtubes but true dual 3" pipe aint helpin much dont have enogh money to run to the back and i just dont wanna mess with it for a while. drones in the cab but im used to it when i think its "To loud" i open the cut-outs then having the mufflers makes it seem better. Theres a few videos in my sig but crappy cell fone videos. and a nice open shortie header doughtnut *Old exhaust*

dont wanna loose any power i donno what the single chamber flows are but stright threw mufflers are usaly good for power *i think* and having the right size exhuast pipe. My truck is prob wanting me to put 2 1/2" true duals or even 2 1/4" but the collector was 3" so i just got 3" everything to make my life better and its a lil louder too.

My F150 sounds great imo, I get compliments now and then and I usually offer to let them hear it better with a couple revs. Very respected exhaust.

My Silverado's exhaust was loved quite a bit too with the Super 44 noisemasters
