spacer and intake?

spacer and intake?

can you run a throttle body spacer with an aftermarket cold air intake or no.
and whats the best cold air intake i can buy for my 4.6?
i was looking at volant

yes you can run a TBS with an aftermarket CAI. I installed an airaid throttle body spacer and a S&B CAI on a buddy's 4.6 I'm not sure the throttle body did anything perfomance wise, it sounds pretty cool that's about it. I recommend the S&B it has a great heat shield

the throttle body spacers are worthless on a modular ford unless you are using them as a NOS port, most people end up losing power and mileage when using a TB spacer


for your 4.6 try the "gotts intake" or any of the sealed intakes (S&B, outlaw etc)
