Best Cold Air for me

Hey guys, my next upgrade is going to be a cold Air Intake, but which one is the best for me? Im looking at either the AFE or the S&B. Im running catback dual exhaust right now and the edge tuner that stays on level 3 as much as possible, or atleast while gas is low. thanks.

First, it would help if you posted what year and engine. Second, you need to read some of the threads in the intake section. Use the search feature for specific info.

Also, welcome to the site!

Some of the things you will read is how the Edge is tuned for the stock intake. You will also read that a CAI does very little without custom tunes.

Change your edge to a gryphon and get custom tunes then you can run whatever CAI you want and not run lean? BTW welcome to the site

06 4.6 S-Crew and thanks! So on the base tune with the edge am i almost better off leaving the intake alone and just putting a K&N Filter on it. The Chargers a sweet ride also, buddies dad has a SRT Model, the things wicked fast

Ok, with the 4.6, you don't run much of a risk running lean, but the K&N drop in will do almost nothing for you performance wise. I have one, but just because it saves money on filters. Your best money spent will be to convert your Edge to a Gryphon. This is where, www.powerhungryperformance.com. Then, remove the silencer from your intake and you will be set to go.

I highly recommend the S&B Intake. It also has the unique option to customize it if you would like, which no other intakes (to my knowledge) has. Let me know if you have any questions.
