ive ran both pacesetter shortys and longtubes...had the shortys *before i found this site* and they were painted only that black from pacesetter said right on not a high temp paint. so i said oh well and within 2 weeks the paint melted off. but they were on the truck for 2 n half years....michigan salt/winters....lots n lots of mud baked on with no probs at all no leaks just lots n lots o rust n baked mud....my long tubes however i sanded and then painted with VHT high temp header paint...some parts of my headers have rust but for the most part they still have the grey color to them lasted alot longer than i thought it would. only 280bucks for my long tubes. Pacesetter sells armor-coated longtubes for 468 bucks i belive ill go find the website for ya. ive never had a prob with anything of theres i use the gaskets bolts and everything. i like my stuff american made....even thoe my trucks from canada...shhhh
