Roush Offroad

So after i get my roush offroad from woodhouse, one tip was dented and the pipe that the right tip attaches to wasnt even straight so the tip angled towards the outer fender. So after all that the exhaust shop finally got it done and its not what i expected. The youtube videos sound louder than it really is. I know it will break in, but i cant imagine it getting much louder. I can barely hear it unless i put the pedal to the floor. Sorry if i sound like im complaining, but for $550 i expected alot more.

I assume its the offroad version, thats the one i ordered. The muffler isnt very long maybe 10" and the tips are hollow. Like seriously it sounds like a stock truck when i floor it.

A local exhaust shop in town called edmond muffler. But they used every piece that came in the box so it's not like they switched anything out. Maybe i just need hi flow cats so i can actually hear it. I dont know what the guys did in the you tube vids but they are loud, and those are even on 4.6l i have the 5.4 so it should be louder.

Give me a month and Ill give you a comparison. I have the OR side exit setting in a box in my office, Im just to lazy to install it with all the holiday crap going on. Ill try to make and audio file, if that still doesnt shed any light on the matter, edmund isnt too far for me to drive.

Something is wrong or you're going deaf. My ROR sounds awesome and has zero manufacturing or shipping defects. Best money I've spent on mods thus far.

Heck my ROUSH LEGAL system is loud enough for me! I'm into my second year of ownership, & I love it! It's broken in nicely, & has a great tone! You need to clean the wax build up in your ears if you have the Off Road version........seriously......

Ok well if my mom says its not loud and she can barely hear it then i know its not loud. Trust me if this is the Offroad system then why waste your money on the legal system.

Mine broke in considerably aftr just a thousand miles. Took 3 Thousand to break in fully. I pulled out of a parking space the other day and set the alarm off on the truck behind me.

When I first put it on I'd have to say that it was quieter than I had expected, especially the first couple hundred miles, but I am VERY happy with it now. Exactly what I was wanting. I get complimented on it all the time. The truck literally ROARS when I start it up on a cold morning.

Ive also found Roush's Customer Service to be real good. My hangers where missing out of the box and they shipped em overnight. If you think something is wrong I would give them a call.
