longtubes or shortys and what motor? i got 5.4 longtubes for my 4.6 and i just caped the EGR fitting on the header *witch you dont have* and then bought a EGR block off plate and took the EGR off i still have the site for the block plate. You will need a tuner or someone to turn off the CEL that will come up i forget the number but it says "EGR insfuffent flow"

I have a 06 F150 5.4 3V, i was told do not have an EGR vavle..

 

i dont know anything about that motor you might not have an EGR vavle wait for Jbrew or someone that has an 06. was there an EGR tube going into the stock manifolds?
