Muffler questions on 97 F150

Hello im a newbie and have a question im going to be putting a new muffler on my truck so i can make some noise and have a good sounding truck, just wondering a few things, whats the inlet and out let piping size on a 97 Ford F150 2wd and what muffler sounds the best on these trucks? I have the 4.6L btw, im thinking a flowmaster anyone else got some suggestions? Also any links to where i could buy these mufflers with the correct inlet and outlet for this truck would be awsome. Thanks guys! Happy thanksgiving.

i would go super 44 2.5 inlet and outlet.
or you could go true duals to get even louder, on the 97 you wont make to much noise with the 4 cats on there, you could cut the pre cats off to make a little difference tho

i wouldnt cut all 4 off, thats what i did on my 2002 4.6 and that was the dumbest thing ive ever done i got a pair of 94106 magnaflow hi flow converters with my true dual 10 series flowmasters and it sounds amazing, and is very very loud to still have cats on there, about the same as it was catless except my CEL went off and it runs alot better now and im legal now
