Look at the receipt. It should say the type they put on. If it is 40series, then you can get em. If it says 60series and you signed it, then you are screwed.

Any decent shop would make good on this situation!
Even if it was you bad, they should at least work with you to fix the situation!

But like another guy said all you need to do is spead the word!
Believe me, you may loose the battle, but you will win the war!
These shops live and die by recomendations!

Best of luck!

The receipt says muffler and thats it. I have used them in the pass and had no problems, untill now. I have not had time to stop by there this week and complain.

But it really sounds good, just like my budies 40, but it helps that i removed the rear cat other wise it was quiet.

I am going to try this for a while.

Thanks for the help guys.

Thought never crossed anyone's mind while discussing this to ask the model number on the MUFFLER? lol Glad you Ended Up happy with it, but I would still be pissed personally. That's why I always buy my own muffler and take it to the shop. Most shops assume their customers are idiots. "This guy wanted a Flowmaster super 44, this one says flowtech on it, slap it on!" That, and I've heard of shops throwing no name house brand mufflers on rather than the brand names asked for. (Surprisingly, not everyone knows that flowmaster's have the brand stamped on them.) Gotta be careful with mechanics!
