cell light o2 sensors

cell light o2 sensors

Will the cell light being on really make the computer run in a different way? I have had the cel light on for over a year it says the i have a hearter problem in bank 1 and 2, 2nd sensor. And a mulfution in both allso.. What affects will this have on my truck?

it shouldnt make a difference in running because its just the heater code. if it was rich or lean it would run worst. i am not sure if yours has a fuse for the heater or not you would have to look it up in your owners manual. heres the deal, a o2 sensor doesnt read properly until it warms up and thats the purpose of the heater o2.

ok than my next question will be? My truck as 160xxx miles on it still have all stock o2 and have put a lot of nitrous throu her, So since the front one don't seem to be bad yet and the rear ones are not need b'c no cats. Would i be able to move the front ones to the back and spend the money on the front ones that are needed?? Guess the question should be are they all the same???

What kind of truck ? Is it a Ford ? What year ? Size Motor? Do you know?

Sorry it a 99 f150 with a 5.4l just want to know if i buy to front o2 if i can put the old ones in the back or is it a dif wire setup?

Yes, you can do that. You might have to shave a **** off the connector (you'll know what I mean if it comes to that).

Use PB-Blaster or something of that nature when removing the rears if they have been in there awhile; The rears can be a PITA, you don't want to screw up the bung.

ya the driver side was really in their put the pb blaster and sea foam and still would not move than hit it again and let the truck warm up than tried again with every thing I had and a loud yell and than she broke free . I was squeezing so hard on the adj wrench I crushed the nut in half

- Been, there done that, but I tore the Sensor off the threads. I had to pull the Y and do a little surgery.
